About Chelsey Goodan
Chelsey Goodan has been an academic tutor and mentor for 16 years, with a particular emphasis on the empowerment of teenage girls. She speaks regularly to audiences about gender justice and serves as the mentorship director of DemocraShe, working to support girls from underserved communities into leadership positions. She’s also a board member for A Call to Men, a national gender-based violence prevention nonprofit that educates men and boys about healthy masculinity. Her book Underestimated: The Wisdom and Power of Teenage Girls, has been recommended by Oprah Daily and Oprah’s Book Club, both saying: “If you have a teenage girl in your life, you need to read this.” Chelsey Goodan’s passion to explore humanity’s potential for authenticity, liberation, and empowerment permeates all her work.
